On Rainy Days Be In The Rain, On Windy Days Be In The Wind.

Composition for guitar, electronics, five guitar amplifiers and voice, in three movements.

The guitar signal is processed through a range of delay configurations, resulting in interesting polyrhythms and phasing. The delay lines each feed to individual guitar amps of different sizes and models, separating the signals spatially and timbrally.

The title of the work is a translation of a short poem by Japanese poet and calligrapher, Aida Mitsuo.
